About this event
Attention nature lovers of all ages: Join us at Pasadena Humane on Saturday, October 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for our fourth annual Wildlife Day! This free, family-friendly event is full of opportunities to explore, learn, and celebrate the wild world around us. Enjoy engaging talks from local wildlife experts, get creative with hands-on crafts and activities for kids, and browse a marketplace featuring artwork, native plants, and one-of-a-kind goods. Whether you're a lifelong wildlife enthusiast or simply curious about the creatures in your own backyard, there's something for everyone!
Before you go at Pasadena Humane
- You can just turn up to meet the adoptable animals — there is no appointment system for adoptions.
- Every counter runs the same hours, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., seven days a week, so there is no quiet weekday-only window to aim for.
- If you are coming in about a found animal, a lost pet, or pet support rather than to adopt, that is the Animal Resource Center and they want you to ring ahead on 626.792.7151 ext. 997.
- The Shelter Shop sits on the corner of Del Mar and Raymond, which is a different corner of the block from the main Raymond Avenue address.
