About this event
Join CMA's Education Team in cleaning up the native garden every second Saturday of the month. Monthly garden maintenance is a great way to enjoy the outdoors and learn about native plants, all while helping out! Meet at the native garden behind the aquarium. Free and open to all ages; children must be accompanied by an adult. Reservations requested for groups of 15 or more. Student service credit available.
Before you go at Cabrillo Marine Aquarium
- Admission is free all year. The $10 for adults and $5 for kids and seniors is a suggested donation, not a ticket price.
- Parking in the Cabrillo Beach lot is $3 an hour with a $9 cap for the day, or $15 for boats and oversized vehicles. Summer city holidays and special event days are a $9 flat fee.
- The parking lot takes cards only, so don't count on having cash for it.
- Leave the dog at home — only ADA service animals are allowed in, and staff can't look after an animal for you.
- Sensory bags with noise-canceling headphones, fidget tools and cue cards can be checked out at the Welcome Booth.
