Level 2: Guppy Swim Lessons

Before you go at Santa Monica Swim Center

• Bring something with your address on it. Santa Monica residents pay half, but they check — a current utility bill is what they ask for.
• Without that proof an adult drop-in is $9 instead of $4.50, and a child is $4 instead of $2.
• Same-day slots are booked by phone, and only between 8:15 and 10 a.m. on weekdays — miss that window and you are relying on whatever is left.
• Anyone under 18 using a youth Splash Pass has to swim 25 yards of front crawl for staff before they can reserve a space.
• Turn up on the hour. If your party is not there within ten minutes past, the space is given away.
