About this event
Explore nature through the wonderful world of books. Join us every Friday as we share our favorite stories, picture books and poems. Perfect for preschool children and their caregivers. Drop-in, meet in Central Garden. Free of charge.
Before you go at Sherman Library & Gardens
- Go in from Dahlia Avenue — the entrance has moved while work goes on in the gardens, and some areas are closed off with construction noise around.
- Admission is $12 for an adult and $5 for a child aged 4 to 17.
- Kids 3 and under are free, and you don't need to book a ticket for them at all.
- An admission ticket is good between 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., so this is a daytime visit.
- The library gallery closes on and off for classes and private events — call or ask at the front desk that morning if that's what you came to see.
