Before you go at Sherman Library & Gardens

• Go in from Dahlia Avenue — the entrance has moved while work goes on in the gardens, and some areas are closed off with construction noise around.
• Admission is $12 for an adult and $5 for a child aged 4 to 17.
• Kids 3 and under are free, and you don't need to book a ticket for them at all.
• An admission ticket is good between 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., so this is a daytime visit.
• The library gallery closes on and off for classes and private events — call or ask at the front desk that morning if that's what you came to see.
